Einsam & Verlassen II

Abandoned places are fascinating. Today’s set comes from a late 18th century villa, located at 50.000m2 Dehnepark, Vienna. It was built in new gothic style and was only part of a whole lot of caves, chapels and and pavillons that gave the park a biedermeieresque touch. Now, the ruins of the villa are all that’s left from the glory days.

First five images are digitally produced HDR [high dynamic range] pictures. Beside that, only minor contrast adjustements. If I really start postprocessing, it might look kind of like the following (very rapidly composed) versions of photos you have already seen above.
