Es war alles angerichtet. Anfangs rein. Nachdem aufgezeichnet was sich abgezeichnet, eine Zigarette. Viel später mehr. Good Karma fährt in Schwarz und damit durch Haut und unter. Bloß nicht zu tief. Trotzdem Spuren. Surren, sonor. Krallende Krallen. Kalkbrenner massiert, später kommt James. Mein Apparat macht Chk-Rtsch. Chk, nochmal. Schwarz auf Weiß auf Schwarz auf Weiß.

So, I borrowed my friends old Ihagee Exakta. It’s about 60 years old and has not been used for at least 20. I gave it a try and as you can see, it works perfectly. So this was just the test roll, all photos taken at home or at least within 300m from there. Will get serious with this thing now. Story to be continued…

This is an Ihagee Exakta Varex, built in Dresden, Eastern Germany (back then), around 1950. Thanks S. for borrowing me this pearl of an old camera. First (test) film roll is being developed and will be ready by tomorrow night. I’m more than curious, you stay tuned.
