An ode to The Moment

This is an ode to the moment. The moment. When jigsaws seem to fall into place. When weather and light change within seconds and you are right in the middle of everything, knowing that you are the very only person in the universe to capture this very moment, save it, and give it to others. I had one of these moments in Australia, it has become one of my all time favourites.

The picture above was taken in Hinterglemm a couple of days, the sun went down and we were on our very last run, when the light became more and more unreal. I stopped for a second or two. And finished the day with a long last frontside turn and a smile on my face.

Thank you very much, my fellow racers. It was a pleasure. All photos shot in Hinterglemm (Salzburg, Austria) on Dec 30th 2008 and Jan 2nd 2009.

And hell yeah, I do snowboard with a DSLR in my hand. I am that good! ;)
